What is a Stroop task?
Each sheet shows color words, such as “blue” or “red”, printed in different colors. First, read the words in order. Then name the color of the ink instead of reading the word. Naming the ink color while ignoring the word takes effort, which makes this a classic exercise for attention. Please print the sheets in color.
How to choose a level
Start with the 7×4 sheet, which has the fewest words. Move on to 10×5, 20×5, 10×10 and 20×10 as it becomes easier. Write down the time for each part so you can compare from day to day.
Tip: Write down the time taken and the number of missed items on each sheet, so you can see changes from day to day.
