What is a digit cancellation task?
In a digit cancellation task, you look through rows of numbers and cross out every target number, for example every “7”. It is used to practice selective and sustained attention, and it suits people who are more comfortable with numbers than with letters.
How to choose a level
Start with Target 1 on the 10×10 grid, where there is only one number to find. When that feels easy, move on to Target 2 and Target 3 (two or three numbers to find), and then to the larger 10×20 grids. The Dual Task sheets add a second rule and are the most demanding.
Tip: Write down the time taken and the number of missed items on each sheet, so you can see changes from day to day.
Only the first sheet of each worksheet is free to download. A premium membership unlocks all sheets.
